I got this as a gift and this has definitely helped while potty training my dog and the smell of urine is potent, I have tried other candles but these have definitely helped minimize the smell and leave my house smelling wonderful! The pet odor control candles are truly spectacular. This is one of my all time favorite candles. I have no idea how they work, but we have several rescue animals - and the smell of litter boxes and wet dogs magically disappears!
