CASA of Johnson & Wyandotte Counties is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Through the power of trained volunteers known as Court-Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs), the organization ensures that each child’s voice is heard in court and that their needs are prioritized throughout the legal process. Since 1985, CASA has helped over 5,690 children in the Kansas foster care system, supported by more than 1,868 certified advocates who have collectively contributed over 350,000 hours of service.
In 2025, CASA of Johnson & Wyandotte Counties proudly celebrates its 40th anniversary—four decades of impactful service and community dedication. To honor this milestone, Empire Candle is producing a special-edition scented candle, with proceeds benefiting CASA's mission to support vulnerable children. This commemorative candle not only marks the occasion but also helps raise awareness and funding so more children can receive the advocacy they deserve
